Well your tire won't exactly fall off the rim from having a bad wheel bearing.

But if your wheel bearing is bad and then it goes down the road without being fixed then eventually the wheel bearing will get worse and worse and eventually after so many miles of driving on the bad wheel bearing the wheel bearing will seize up.

Once the wheel bearing seizes up then it can cause the wheel bearing and wheel bearing hub to snap off which can cause you to loose control of your vehicle.

So yes your wheel and tire can come off the vehicle at a high rate of speed if the wheel bearing seizes up then it can lead to a severe wreck or even a fatal wreck if your wheel comes off.

The wheel could also land onto another car and cause another accident or fatal accident.

I would not recommend driving with a bad wheel bearing for too long because it can be a problem.
