When people have ulcers there's usually a gnawing or burning pain that is usually located in the pit of the stomach or just below the ribs on either the right or left side.
Sometimes pushing on the stomach in those areas can cause the stomach ulcers to get worse in pain so yes sometimes pushing on your stomach can increase the pain of the stomach ulcer.
If you have stomach ulcers the pain from the stomach ulcers or peptic ulcers can be in the center of your stomach or below your ribs.
Some less severe ulcers can go away on their own within a few weeks to a few months however some ulcers may be more severe and may not go away without treatment.
In some more severe cases the stomach ulcer might burst and if the stomach ulcer bursts then it requires immediate surgery or it can be life threatening.
