You can have Lupus for years and not even know about it as lupus can sometimes start slowly progressing and then get worse.
Sometimes it takes up to 5 years for some people to be diagnosed with Lupus because in some people Lupus can be hard to detect early on.
But when you do have Lupus some warning signs of Lupus are Fever, Headaches, Extreme Fatigue or Tiredness, Swollen or Painful Joints, Anemia or Pain in your chest on deep breathing.
A few other signs of lupus are swelling in your feet, legs, hands, and/or around eyes as well as A butterfly shaped rash across cheeks and nose.
If you think you have Lupus you should go to a doctor and see if they can detect it because some peoples lupus can be detected early on while some people may not be able to get it detected for a few years.
But getting tested for Lupus is a good idea.
