Jet fuel will work just fine in a kerosene heater although jet fuel is usually more expensive per gallon than kerosene fuel or diesel fuel.
In fact you could use diesel fuel in your kerosene heater if you cannot use kerosene or have any access to kerosene fuel.
But diesel fuel doesn't evaporate as well as kerosene so it doesn't burn as good as the kerosene would but the diesel fuel is cheaper than the jet fuel.
However if you have Jet fuel and want to burn it in the kerosene heater you certainly can do so.
