The best vacuum cleaner for pet hair and hardwood floors would the BISSELL PowerEdge Pet Hard Floor Corded Vacuum which is the Model 81L2A.

I have one of these vacuum cleaners and it works well on pet hair and on my hardwood floors without scratching the hardwood floors and never gets clogged as long as I clean it often.

Any vacuum cleaner will clog if you do not keep the filters and the vacuum cleaner itself clean but as long as you maintain the vacuum it should last a good long time.

I love my Bissell PowerEdge Vacuum cleaner and hope it lasts a long time but I'd buy another one if I needed too.

I think the best pet hair and hardwood floor vacuum cleaner is Thamtu G11. (I only used this)
Its price is very cheap, but it works well without scratching hardwood floors. Hope it will last a long time, but if I need it too, I will buy another one.
