Skunk smells could kill you if you got sprayed by several skunks at one time and inhaled beyond 700 ppm which is what it takes to loose consciousness and possibly die.
But just getting sprayed from one skunk is unlikely to kill you although you may feel like you want to die because of the smell.
I was sprayed by a skunk before and it was awful however I was okay and I'm still alive now.
What I did was take a few tomato soup baths to help get rid of the skunk smell off my body and you'll be smelling like a skunk for maybe a week before it all goes away.
I had to take 3 tomato soup baths before the smell got almost completely off of me and then just showering with my regular soap got rid of the rest of the smell.
