In low enough concentrations the skunk spray is not harmful to humans although it will make you feel sick to your stomach and you'll be smelling bad for awhile if you do get sprayed by the skunk.
But in order for the skunk spray to be harmful to you you'd have to be sprayed by around 5 or 15 skunks before it became a health issue.
It indeed possible to loose consciousness and possibly die as a result of many skunks spraying you at the same time but it would take more than 20 to 30 skunks to spray you at the same time before you died of it or lost consciousness.
