No Milk Glass or any other fragile china should never be placed in a dishwasher because the dishwasher can chip and damage the milk glass.
I've done it myself to see if the dishwasher would clean a milk glass vase and it chipped it and ruined it so never place milk glass or any other fragile dishes in the dishwasher and just wash them by hand.
The dishwasher can also scrub off any etching or patterns on china and milk glass and cause discoloration to light colored milk glass.
So always just gently wash the milk glass or fragile china by hand.
