If the shocks are not too bad or too worn out then it can be okay to continue driving the vehicle with those bad shocks.
However you can cause damage to the vehicle overtime if you do not have those bad shocks replaced and it could eventually become dangerous and lead to your vehicle going out of control due to all the bouncing.
If your shocks are worn out they could cause problems with your wheel bearings too and cause those to go bad sooner.
I would recommend getting the shocks replaced on the car before driving it too far as it can become very dangerous.
