When you're constipated by poop is stuck in your bowels and you can reach the poop to pull it out you can sometimes pull at least some of the poop out.

However sometimes you might need an enema to get your bowels moving if other constipation remedies such as prune juice or laxatives do not work.

Usually it's pretty hard for you to pull out your own poop when you're constipated and usually requires a doctor to reach in there to remove the stuck poop.

Or the doctor might run a camera up your bottom to check and see where the poop is stuck in your rectum.

If you can pull out some of the poop yourself it's worth a try but if not it's best to go to a doctor if the constipation hasn't cleared up within a week or two.
