Natural gas in pipelines and the pipes that lead to your home run at pretty low pressures.

The most common natural gas pressure in natural gas lines that lead to your home run around a pressure of 0.25 psi.

The pressures in larger diameter natural gas pipelines are usually at a bit higher pressure to allow the natural gas to flow through the larger natural gas pipelines to reach your homes.

However in the large diameter natural gas pipelines that get the natural gas from the location it's produced to allow it to travel to your home can be at much higher places in some places such as 200 to 1500 pounds per square inch (psi).

But the natural gas pipelines in your neighborhood are lower pressures then the main natural gas pipelines that are there to deliver the natural gas over long stretches.
