The minimum credit limit that most people get with their first Capital One Credit Card is $1,000.00
Then as you use the credit card responsibly the credit limit can increase overtime to $2,000.00 to $3,000.00 and even go as high as $10,000.00
To get a credit limit increase up to $10,000.00 you'll have to use the Capital One Credit card for around 4 to 6 years with on time monthly payments.
You must not default on monthly payments to the Capital One Credit Card and then you can ask for a credit limit increase eventually.
But when you first sign up for a Capital One Credit Card you should get a credit limit of at least $1,000.00
That is the amount my credit limit was with Capital One and now I have a $10,000.00 credit limit but only use it for emergencies.
I only use as much of the credit limit as I can reasonably pay off within the year or a few months.
