When a hearing aid is getting static sounds coming from it it can either be caused by interference from something else in the home or nearby it or could also mean the hearing aid needs to be fixed.

If your hearing aid continues to get static even when you're around nothing that could cause interference to the hearing aid then I would have the hearing aids checked out and let your doctor know about  it.

or take your hearing aids to a medical supply place or where you got the hearing aids and let them know that the hearing aids are producing static.

If your hearing aid is making a whistling sound it's caused by feedback that means that the sound leaving your ears goes back into the microphone of the hearing aids resulting in the feedback or whistling sound.

Sometimes the hearing aids just need adjustment to fix the problem.
