So that means they would get a salary for going out and taking pictures of the celebrities so that the gossip websites such as TMZ or other news and gossip shows and websites would have those celebrity photos to post to their website or in their magazine or show them on television.
But some celebrity photographers only work on commission which means they have to take the photographs of the celebrities and hope that some news magazine or new outlet will buy the photos from them.
