It takes around the same amount of time for toddlers to digest food as it does for adults to digest food.

Normally it takes both adults and toddlers as well as young children six to eight hours to fully digest food.

So most people including myself have to poop around 6 hours to 8 hours after eating which is normal.

Some people may digest food a bit sooner and need to poop soon after and that's normal as well depending on what they eat.

The more fiber the toddler or person eats the more they have to poop and sometimes more often which is normal.

So you can expect your toddler to need to poop usually within 6 to 8 hours but sometimes sooner after they've eaten.
