At 35 weeks of pregnancy the baby is not yet fully developed and it's usually too soon to deliver the baby at 35 weeks.

When you're 35 weeks into your pregnancy you usually have around 4 more weeks until the baby is full term and ready to be born.

At 35 weeks the baby is considered to be not quite full term but there lungs are fully developed and they do have around a 99 percent chance of survival if born at 35 weeks.

But a baby usually is not entirely developed until 40 weeks of pregnancy but sometimes sooner.

So it's important to wait if possible until the baby has become full term before it's born but sometimes the baby decides to come out sooner or other medical problems cause the baby to be born sooner.
