Shea Butter is a wonderful product and works great as a natural skin moisturizer and can help reduce wrinkles, tighten skin and keep your skin from drying out.

Also Shea Butter can help get rid of acne and prevent future acne outbreaks as I've found it to work on my own acne.

I would massage Shea Butter daily into my skin and after a few months the acne disappeared and the acne has not come back.

My skin has stayed very healthy, shiny and has not dried out since I started using Shea Butter daily on my skin.

Shea Butter is also used to make homemade soaps, Lip Balms, Body Butters and much more.

You can also mix coconut oil with Shea Butter to add better moisturizing properties to the Shea Butter.

Also my mom uses Shea Butter on her arms where her joints are and it helps with treating arthritis because it's anti inflammatory properties.

So if you have arthritis or other inflammation in your joints the Shea Butter massaged onto the affected area can help with the pain and other problems associated with arthritis.

You can also massage Shea Butter into your hair which will help with your hair growth and keep your scalp healthy and promote hair growth and prevent future hair loss.

Shea Butter does have a shelf life and does goes bad.

Shea Butter does eventually expire and go bad.

Raw Shea Butter usually lasts for around 24 months while refined Shea Butter lasts around 37 months before it goes bad.

Signs that Shea Butter has gone bad include.

Rancid smell. Makes you gag, reminds you of olive oil gone bad or food gone bad.

If your Shea butter smells rancid, toss it.

Smokey smell. This is a burnt smell, close to the smell of when you fire up your barbecue or burn wood.

Shea Butter can increase pimples especially if you use pure Shea Butter which can increase pimple breakouts.

To use Shea Butter on your face simply wash your face first and then pat dry your face.

Next scoop out some Shea Butter in your hands and then rub the Shea Butter between the palms of your hands and then apply it to your face and gently massage the Shea Butter into your skin of your face.

It is okay to use Shea Butter on your face everyday.

When using Shea Butter on your face it's recommended to apply the Shea Butter to your face up to 3 times per day everyday to see results.

Shea Butter does remove dark spots although it takes around 6 months for Shea Butter to remove the dark spots as long as you apply the Shea Butter often.

Shea butter can be applied to dark skin to heal scars, bruises, and burns.

Shea Butter is better than Cocoa Butter if you have acne prone skin.

This is because Shea Butter is lightweight while Cocoa Butter is not.

For issues like scars, acne, and stretch marks, Shea butter seems to be the better choice, since cocoa butter tends to clog your skin pores.

People with dry skin problems can use unrefined cocoa butter because of the ease of absorption into the skin, and it quickly improves the appearance of the skin.

Cocoa butter is a naturally derived product and is safe to use on your lips and skin.

Cocoa Butter is also full of nutrients which can help keep your lips healthy and prevent them from drying out.

Shea Butter is also good for your lips along with Cocoa Butter.

Shea butter and cocoa butter:

Shea and cocoa butter are both natural types of fats that come from the Shea tree and cocoa bean, respectively.

Butters, like Shea and cocoa, help your lips hold on to moisture and help heal chapped lips.

You can moisturize your lips with glycerine, cocoa butter or Shea butter.

Massages help to increase the circulation of blood to lips. Increased blood flow creates an illusion and makes lips appear more reddish.

Ice cubes can be used to massage your lips.

Cocoa butter, also called theobroma oil, is a pale-yellow, edible fat extracted from the cocoa bean.

Cocoa Butter is also used to make chocolate, as well as some ointments, toiletries, and pharmaceuticals.

Cocoa butter has a cocoa flavor and aroma and it's melting point is just below human body temperature.

Cocoa butter contains a high amount of fatty acids, which make it well-suited as a primary ingredient in skin cream.

Fatty acids help to hydrate the skin.

The fat in cocoa butter creates a protective barrier that holds in moisture and prevents your skin from drying.

If you have acne-prone skin the Shea butter might be a better choice because it is lightweight.

Cocoa butter is also commonly used during massages due to its calming aroma.

Shea butter is known to improve stretch marks and other skin blemishes.

In the end, both kinds of butter can help moisturize your skin.
