Bed Bugs usually come into contact with your body or clothing through the outside then the bed bugs get onto your beds and stay in your clothing.
Bed Bugs are bugs that feed off of humans and animals blood after biting through the humans or animals skin to get the blood.
So that's the main goal of the bed bugs is to feed off of blood so they make contact through animals and humans when you're outside.
If you have pets that go outside and then come inside the bed bugs can attach to the animals and come into your house and then get onto your beds and clothing.
You can also get bed bugs by staying in a hotel room that someone left bed bugs in because the bed bugs can hitchhike on your clothing and body without you knowing it.
So if you stay at a hotel room you should inspect the bedding and room for potential bed bugs and if you do notice bed bugs you should contact the hotel or motel staff right away so they can remedy the situation.
If you get a bed bug infestation in your home you should hire an exterminator to fully get rid of the bed bugs because they have equipment and chemicals that are much better than any home remedies.
You can however spray the bed bugs and bed bug eggs with some rubbing alcohol or some diluted tea tree oil which will kill some of the bed bugs and bed bug eggs but for an infestation you really need an exterminator to come in and get rid of them.
