Our bodies need plenty of water to stay healthy and flush out toxins in our body and drinking enough water during the day keeps our bodies properly hydrated and keeps our kidneys flushed out so they stay healthy.
For optimal health it's recommended to drink at least eight 8 ounce glasses of water per day but even if you drink a few 8 ounce glasses of water per day it's still better than not drinking any water at all.
I try to drink 8 glasses of water per day which equals to 64 ounces of water per day but sometimes I only drink a few glasses or 16 ounces of water per day.
But on other days I try to make sure to drink the 64 ounces of water in the day which is recommended by doctors and other healthcare professionals.
