Sometimes home remedies will get rid of bed bugs but in some cases you may need an exterminator to fully kill all the bed bugs if your home is really infested with the bed bugs.
Some home remedies that work to kill bed bugs and the bed bug eggs is to add some peppermint essential oil with some rubbing alcohol and spray the bed bugs and areas with the mixture to kill off the bed bugs and bed bug eggs.
You can also steam clean the mattress and other furniture where the bed bugs are and steam clean your carpet.
Cayenne Pepper and Baking Soda can also kill off bed bugs by adding some Cayenne Pepper with the Baking Soda and applying a paste to the mattress or other places where the bed bugs are.
You can also spray some diluted tea tree oil onto the affected areas where the bed bugs are or apply some food-grade diatomaceous earth to the areas where bed bugs are.
But sometimes you'll need to get an exterminator in to really get rid of the bed bugs if you have a bad infestation of them.
I had some good luck using the above home remedies for getting rid of bed bugs but I eventually had to get an exterminator in to get rid of the bed bugs fully and it was well worth the money spent and I haven't had anymore problems with the bed bugs.
