You can put a little bit of coffee grounds around indoor house plants but be careful with the amount of coffee grounds you do put around the house plants becomes when coffee grounds start to decompose they they'll harbor fungi.
That fungi can kill the plants and do more harm than good so if you do put some coffee grounds in the soil of house plants make sure to keep an eye on them and if you notice mold or fungi growing then remove the coffee grounds from the house plants.
Coffee grounds are more suited for vegetable gardens and other outdoor plants but don't do as well on house plants.
Still house plants do sometimes like coffee grounds which will help them grow better and stay healthier as long as you remove the coffee grounds when they get mold or fungi on it.
