Babies will typically grow out of the colic stage within 4 months of age.

But when your baby does have colic you can do a few things to help the baby get relief from the colic such as giving the baby a stomach massage, laying the baby on it's back and even giving the baby a pacifier.

You can also letting the baby soak in a warm bath such as in the kitchen sink or in a baby bathtub and the warm water can help soothe the baby and help with the colic.

Another option to get rid of colic in the baby is to lay the baby across your lap and gently rub his or her back.

Swaddling the baby in a snug blanket and even giving the baby some gripe water should help get rid of the colic.

Eventually the baby will outgrow the colic within 4 to 5 months so you don't have to deal with the babies colic for too long.

Sometimes giving the baby some gripe water and a pacifier or massaging the babies stomach can help get rid of colic.
