Gripe water can sometimes help a baby with colic due to the herbs that are in gripe water helping the baby with digestive issues.
The gripe water when given to your colicky baby should begin working within 5 to 10 minutes and your baby should be less colicky soon after.
Giving the baby a pacifier or even massaging there stomach gently can also sometimes help get rid of colic and even laying the baby on their back is a good idea.
The colic should go away pretty soon once the babies stomach settles down.
Babies will also usually completely grow out of becoming colicky within 4 months of age so you won't have to deal with the colic for too long.
