If you're just a Tourist and only staying in Tahiti for up to 90 days as a tourist and just visiting the place then no you do not need a Visa to visit or stay in Tahiti for those 90 days.
However if you're traveling too Tahiti as a non tourist then you may be required to have a Visa before going to Tahiti but as a tourist a Visa for Tahiti is not required.
However one thing you do need and are required to have to be a tourist in Tahiti are your vaccines and a passport with a blank page for each stamp and three months validity.
As long as you have that then you can go into Tahiti and come back.
