I want to share my experience about moving to Russia. Since I have a salary of about 4-5k dollars, I thought that it might be convenient for me in the country where the prices for food and housing are cheap, because I can work remotely. I recently moved from Düsseldorf to Moscow. For three months I spend a maximum of 2k dollars a month, without denying myself anything. Moving including the transfer of important things cost me 2k too. Visa was not so expensive and this was done by the company https://durchrussland.de. Maybe someone needs it too. I do not regret my decision and I like everything here.

If you're able to change your place of residence and have a cheaper place to live and cheaper cost of living then I think it's a great idea.

Right now I live in a place with high cost of living and housing and property tax but I'm looking to eventually sell my home when I retire and move to a cheaper place in the USA.

Still haven't found the best place yet but I have awhile to plan and look for a place so I'm not in a hurry.

Personally I wouldn't mind buying an RV and travel around in it during retirement when I no longer need to work a job to make money.

I'm blogging now too and making some money from it which should be making me good money in retirement.
