No you should not use a blanket with holes in it for your baby and especially not the crocheted blankets due to strangle hazards.

When the baby gets to 1 year old or older then the blankets including the blankets with holes are safe for the baby but until then never put a blanket including ones with holes in the crib or bassinet with the baby when they're sleeping.

Blankets are okay for babies under a year old if you're supervising them such as when holding the baby and wrapping them in a blanket but when the baby is sleeping alone you should not leave a blanket in the crib with the baby if the baby is under 1 year old.

SIDS can happen which is sudden infant death syndrome if the baby is allowed to sleep with a blanket before they're 1 year old or older.
