The condition Laryngitis is contagious but not very contagious and mostly people who have laryngitis are only contagious when they have a fever.
Once the fever goes away then the person is usually no longer contagious with the Laryngitis although if the cause of the Laryngitis is bacteria or fungal then the person could be contagious.
So it's best to take precautions when around someone with Laryngitis just to avoid risk of getting infected with it yourself but most times the Laryngitis is not all that contagious or contagious at all once the fever has gone.
