The front load washing machines do use less water and electricity when washing clothes as opposed to a top load washing machine.

The front load washing machine requires less water "as in 40% less water" to get the clothes clean than a top loading washing machine does because the front load washing machine.

Also the front load washing machine without the agitator gets clothes much cleaner than a washing machine that has an agitator.

The front load washing machine contains an electric motor that uses less electricity as well unlike a top loading washing machine that sometimes has a bigger less efficient electric motor.
