An MD is a medicine doctor or a doctor of medicine and a DO is a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine.

Both MD and DO are doctors that practice medicine but the DO focuses on the muscular and skeletal systems to treat problems throughout the body.

A MD is a doctor who uses mostly medicine to treat illness and doesn't focus on the muscular and skeletal systems.

Basically the DO has some different training than an MD but both are doctors.
