When growing and caring for succulents the succulents do best in bright light but they don't do so well in direct sunlight.

Putting the succulents near a window that gets some natural sunlight though can help the succulents thrive but avoid direct sunlight.

You can also use grow lights during the dark winter months or when the sun is not shining so bright.

During the warm weather and sunny weather you can place the succulents outdoors for awhile if you want too to allow the succulents to get some sunlight but then bring them back in.

I have a few succulents in my house and keep them near a window that gets some good natural sunlight and they do very well.

Succulents are wonderful indoor plant but they do well outside as well.
