I mostly use snap mouse traps to catch any mice in my home and that usually works the best at instantly or almost instantly killing the mice.

But if the mice start avoiding the snap mouse traps then I do set out glue traps which catch the mice but don't kill them instantly.

For the glue traps to work for mice you need to put some type of food onto the glue trap to attract the mice to the trap.

If that doesn't work and the snap traps don't work then you might need to set out mice or rat poison to kill the mice or rats.

Or you can make a mouse trap out of a plastic bottle, bucket and some water in the bucket.

The mouse gets onto the bottle and it spins and then the mice fall into the bucket and drown.
