The allowed height for a privacy fence at the front of your house is usually restricted to the standard 6 foot tall fence height.
But sometimes you might be allowed to install a privacy fence at 8 feet tall in some locations but you should first check with your town or city to see what they say about it.
Sometimes you might need to get a permit before starting the install of the fence but even if you don't get a permit and you build the fence too high then you'll just have to redo it to the allowed height.
But if you're going for a 6 foot tall privacy fence which is mostly standard height of privacy fences then you should be okay.
