Some pigs will squeal or fight you off when picking them up because of instinct since pigs are prey animals and are only up in the air mostly when they're being slaughtered or eaten by other animals.

Some pigs however may enjoy picked up especially if you've had the pig as a piglet like I did as a kid.

I used to have a piglet who loved being held when I was a kid and he used to rub his nose on my nose at times when I had him close to my face.

However I have been around some pigs and piglets that hated being held so it can be up to the individual pig or piglet as you might find one that would love to held.

That goes for human babies as well.

I've been around some babies that hated being held and cuddled while some other human babies enjoy the holding and cuddling.
