Ice can be brought onto the plane including frozen water in water bottles as long as the ice or water is completely frozen during the process of going through the security.
If the ice or bottled water becomes partially melted then it won't be allowed through the security which doesn't make sense but that's the way it is.
And if you're flying you have to go by their rules.
So as long as you have the ice completely frozen and not melted it can be brought onto the plane and go through security.
