Surgical Glue and Super Glue are almost the same thing except that surgical glue has been formulated to where it won't burn or irritate the skin when it's put on.
They're the same types of glue except for the formula being just a bit different to prevent skin irritation and burn of the skin.
Still it's safe to use super glue on your skin when you have a cut and need to close that cut up to prevent bleeding however it might sting and burn a little.
But that's a lot better than bleeding to death but still it would be a good idea to see a doctor to make sure the cut doesn't get infected.
