Rowing is a wonderful exercise for both young people and seniors and can help seniors keep fit and keep their muscles strong.
Rowing on a rowing machine can help your shoulders, arms, back, legs and abdominal muscles and strengthen your body and tone your body as well.
Rowing is also a good exercise for keeping your heart healthy as well so you can prevent cardiovascular problems and even heart disease as it keeps you healthy and active.
Some assisted living facilities I've seen have some rowing machines in an exercise room and I've seen some seniors using them for their workout.
You can also lose weight and burn off calories when using a Rowing machine and it's a good way to keep active and fit during the cold winter months or hot summer months when you need to stay indoors to stay cool or warm.
