When your dog licks your face when you get home it means the dog is happy to see you.
My dog always runs too me when I get into the house and wants to lick my face whenever I sit down on the couch.
The dog is showing me that he misses me and that he's glad that I'm home and is showing his love for me as well.
I wrestle around with him when I get home and sit down on the couch and after a few minutes of licking me in the face he'll settle down and sit down next to me.
So when you get home and your dog licks you in the face the dog is glad that you're home and missed you while you were gone.
