If the throttle position sensor is faulty it can cause rough idling, engine stalling, loss of engine power, poor acceleration and increased fuel consumption.

If your vehicle is Idling rough, or stalling out or losing engine power get the TPS or Throttle Position Sensor checked out.

Sometimes the problem may also be a bad Mass Airflow Sensor or MAF sensor because both those things are essential to a properly running engine because those sensors let the computer know how much fuel is needed to run the engine properly.
