You can grow straight eight cucumbers or any types of cucumbers in containers but they need to be pretty large containers for the cucumbers to grow properly.

The large container you plant the straight eight cucumbers in or any cucumbers in require several drainage holes to allow excess water to drain out.

Also when cucumbers are in containers they need watering more often than cucumbers you plant in the ground so expect to water the cucumbers in the container every few days to keep them growing.

Containers for planting cucumbers including straight eight cucumbers need to be least 12 inches across and 8 inches deep.
