Yes high blood pressure can cause you to have a heart attack.

High blood pressure can also lead to heart disease, heart attacks and even strokes so you should always keep check on your blood pressure and avoid stress as much as possible too.

When your blood pressure remains high it allows and causes the coronary arteries that serve and connect to the heart to slowly become narrowed from a buildup of fat, cholesterol and other substances that together are called plaque.

When that happens a heart attack can happen because it doesn't get enough blood flow.

It's important to manage your blood pressure and keep it at a good level to prevent heart disease, heart attacks and even stroke.
