When you get food poisoning you get stomach pains that feel like a stomach virus so if you've had a stomach virus your symptoms of food poisoning will feel similar.

In most case food poisoning is not fatal and usually goes away on it's own within a few days to a week without treatment but seeing a doctor is a good option just to be safe.

The Symptoms of Food Poisoning are cramping, nausea, vomiting, and sometimes diarrhea.

The pains during food poisoning usually occur in the rectum or abdomen and other symptoms of food poisoning that occur with your entire body are chills, dehydration, dizziness, fatigue, fever, lightheadedness, loss of appetite, malaise, or sweating.

You might also experience symptoms of food poisoning such as gagging, indigestion, nausea, vomiting, flatulence, or stomach cramps and headaches and weakness feeling.
