You can build your credit by either paying off part of the credit card balance or paying off the credit card balance in full each month and both ways will build your credit to a good point.

But yes paying off your credit card balance in full will help to build your credit faster and show a good payment history.

When you use the credit card and pay the balance off in full it shows that you're a good credit risk and will show up on your credit report when someone checks your credit.

It's always better to just pay off the full credit card balance each month when you get the bill to help built a strong credit history.

Sometimes you also save on interest charges too when you pay the credit card balance off in full so it's a win win situation.
