Sulfuric Acid has a freezing point of around 37 F and below but once it gets to 37 F the Sulfuric Acid can freeze or begin to freeze.

The melting point of Sulfuric Acid is 50 F and above.

Car batteries use Lead Acid as well as Sulfuric acid so it takes much more lower temperatures for the acid to freeze when mixed together.
