Lyme Disease can be a very serious health issue and if you do have Lyme Disease and it goes untreated then you will die pretty soon after being diagnosed with the Lyme Disease.

When you have Lyme Disease you'll have flu like Symptoms and also when Lyme Disease is left untreated the bacteria will attack many tissues inside your body including the heart and nervous system and trigger an immune response.

Sometimes you may not die from the Lyme Disease but it can be potentially fatal if it progresses too far so always get treated as soon as possible if you have come down with Lyme Disease.

If you've been bitten by a tick you should get checked out for Lyme Disease just to be safe.

You can die from Lyme disease but most people recover from Lyme disease.

Typical symptoms of Lyme disease include fever, headache, fatigue, and a characteristic skin rash called erythema migrans.

If Lyme disease is left untreated, infection can spread to joints, the heart, and the nervous system.

Lyme disease is diagnosed based on symptoms, physical findings (e.g., rash), and the possibility of exposure to infected ticks.

Deer ticks can carry the bacteria that causes Lyme

Lyme disease causes a rash, often in a bull's-eye pattern, and flu-like symptoms.

Joint pain and weakness in the limbs also can occur.

Most people with Lyme disease recover completely with appropriate antibiotic treatment.

For those who develop syndromes after their infection is treated, pain medications may provide symptomatic relief.

Dying from Lyme Disease is possible in rare cases but the death in Lyme Disease infected people is usually not a direct result of the Lyme Disease itself.

Instead the person who is infected with Lyme Disease usually dies as a result of complications from the Lyme Disease and the most common complication from Lyme Disease is respiratory failure.

The respiratory failure is usually from the Lyme Diseases long term effects on the central nervous system.

If you do get bit by a tick which is the way you get infected with Lyme Disease you should see a doctor for treatment before it gets worse.

It would be a good idea to get tested for Lyme Disease after you get bitten by a tick just to be safe.

If you experience any of the below symptoms of Lyme Disease then you should get to urgent care or the emergency room just to be safe.

Some Symptoms of Lyme Disease are Heart palpitations or an irregular heartbeat, Loss of muscle tone or “drooping” on one or both sides of the face, Arthritis with severe joint pain and swelling, particularly in the knees, Severe headache or neck stiffness and Rashes on other areas of the body.

Lyme Disease is not always fatal but sometimes it can if it's left untreated for years and it gets worse.
