When too much fluid is removed from a patient during dialysis treatment it can cause side effects such as nausea, low blood pressure and dizziness.

If your blood pressure drops during dialysis you should go to the emergency room if the blood pressure does not come back to normal soon after.

The blood pressure drop and dizziness or nausea usually occurs near the end of the dialysis treatment.

Dialysis is a life saving treatment but you may experience those problems and should speak with a doctor if your blood is dropping and you start feeling dizzy etc let the dialysis doctors know about it.
