Tahiti has no hurricanes or hurricane seasons but they do have Cyclones which are very similar to Hurricanes so you could say they have a Cyclone Season which can be just as destructing as a Hurricane.
So if you've been in Hurricanes before you'll likely survive a Cyclone In Tahiti.
Still I would not visit Tahiti during the Cyclone Season because it would not be a very good experience for a vacation.
The humid season in Tahiti is from November to April and during that time Cyclones can happen so it's best to avoid Tahiti during those times but if you want to go then you can but I would visit before November to avoid Cyclones and have a better experience.
