For succulents to grow and thrive the best the soil for succulents should be at least 4 inches deep.

You can grow succulents in just about any container as long as you can get the soil at least 4 inches in depth and make sure the containers have holes in the bottom so that excess water can drain out of the pot or container.

When planting succulents in pots or containers choose a pot or container that is at least 1/2 inch larger than the base of the plant for upright succulents to grow properly.

Water the succulents everyday or every 2 days in the beginning and then after they start growing you can water once or twice per week making sure to soak the soil good.
