Yes you can disable the automatic car door locks by following a few steps.

The automatic locking is programmed into the vehicles computer so you'll need to do a few things to disable the automatic car door locking but it can easily be done.

A dealer or auto shop may also be able to do the disabling of the automatic locking for a fee.

Here's the steps to disabling the automatic door locking.

Step 1

Close all of the doors of your vehicle and make sure the perimeter alarm is disabled if you have one.

You can do this by clicking "Disable" or "Unlock" on your remote control if you have one.

Step 2

Insert the key into the ignition switch and leave it in the "Off" position.

Step 3

Turn the key to "Run" and press the power door lock "Unlock" button three times.

Step 4

Turn the key in the ignition from "Run" to "Off."

Step 5

Press the "Unlock" button on the power door lock three times.

Step 6

Turn the ignition switch from "Off" to "Run." All of these steps must be performed within 30 seconds of first putting the key into the ignition switch.

Step 7

Wait for the horn to chirp. This will indicate the automatic locks have been disabled.

Step 8

Press "Unlock" on the power door button one time to toggle the autolock / relock feature to "On" or "Off."

Step 9

Press the "Lock" button on the power door and wait for the horn to chirp.

Turn the ignition switch to "Off" to exit the enable/disable mode.

The horn will then chirp once more to confirm changes.

And that's it the doors should no longer automatically lock.
