After you win a judgement and settlement in court the insurance companies have to process the settlement and then get the settlement paid out to the person who won the settlement.
After you win the settlement in court it can take up to 6 to 8 weeks to start getting the payments from the settlement or to get paid out in full for the settlement depending which payment method you choose to have.
The insurance company also requires the person sign a lease that settles the settlement claim before they can pay out the settlement.
