A car should not be leaking out coolant and if the car is leaking coolant it's best to try to find where the coolant is leaking from and then fix the coolant leak.

Because if the engine radiator doesn't have the proper amount of engine coolant then the engine could overheat and cause major engine damage.

If the engine is leaking coolant just a little here and there then you can top it up and drive it just enough to where you can get it fixed or fix it yourself if you know how to fix it.

The leak could be coming from the water pump, radiator hoses, heater hoses etc but it needs to be fixed soon before you drive the car too far and get stranded.
